Meet in the cafeteria to hear a short introduction from Mr. Holmes and the PTO Board. Please stop by and sign-up for one of the many events and activities the PTO sponsors. You can also buy yearbooks, T-shirts, mugs and shorts. Then, continue on to your child’s classroom to meet the teacher(s).

Navajo Celebrates its 50th Anniversary

On February 12th, Navajo hosted a celebration with food, music, auction items and lots of reminiscing to celebrate the 50th Anniversary. THANK YOU to Marcella’s Italian Kitchen for donating a large portion of the wonderful food and great service. We would also like to thank the following local businesses for their donations to the event as well: Buzzberry, Skateland, Scratch Pastries, Mi Patio, Paula Carr Dance Academy, Fresh and Easy, Safeway and Fry’s.

Tax Credit Donations

Did you know that Arizona law allows taxpayers to receive a tax credit of up to $200 for individual filers and up to $400 for married filers for donations made to SUSD schools? You can claim the tax credit when filing your 2010 Arizona State Income Tax return. The school must receive the funds by December 31, 2010. It’s a win, win situation for you and the school!
