Navajo Dads Club
WELCOME TO NAVAJO DADS CLUB!
Navajo Dads Club is your opportunity to be a part of a supportive community of dads, step dads, grandfathers, uncles, and father-figures who are committed to making a difference in their student’s education and experience at Navajo Elementary School.
OUR OBJECTIVES
- Positive Role Models: The Dads Club presence on campus helps foster a sense of security, boosts self-esteem, and contributes to students’ overall social and emotional development.
- Enhancing Safety & Community: By taking on projects in the classroom, campus, and community, we contribute to a safer and more connected school environment.
OUR IDENTITY AND APPROACH
At Navajo Dads Club, we’re a group of dedicated dads who volunteer at least once a school year at Navajo Elementary. Our process is as easygoing as our attitudes!
To sign up, you can join us at our Dads Club Kickoff or email us any time throughout the year. Our club president collaborates with the school administrators to arrange schedules and find meaningful ways you can contribute
MAKING A DIFFERENCE
When you join us, you’ll find yourself engaged in meaningful activities. We read with students, facilitate games during breaks, help with moving/lifting or other physical projects, open tricky containers in the cafeteria, and direct traffic in the pickup line. The work is fulfilling and you will be treated like a celebrity by students and teachers alike!
