About Navajo Elementary PTO – Supporting Innovation, Enrichment & Community
Navajo Elementary is a Cognia STEM-accredited, S.T.E.A.M.-focused Title I school located in South Scottsdale, Arizona. Our diverse student body thrives in an environment that blends academics with creativity, curiosity, and innovation through hands-on, real-world experiences.
The Navajo PTO plays a vital role in supporting and funding programs that directly enrich our students’ educational journey—programs that would not be possible without the generosity of donors, sponsors, and grant providers.
Your support helps us bring to life impactful projects and initiatives such as:
• The Innovators Lab – a dedicated space for design thinking, robotics, and STEAM-based exploration
• The Book Vending Machine – promoting literacy through positive reinforcement and student choice
• Our Greenhouse & Harvesting Garden – encouraging sustainability, responsibility, and science learning
• TAPS (Teachers Assisting Parent Support) – helping staff with classroom needs and student engagement
• Staff Wellness Programs – like our weekly Snack Cart and Teacher Appreciation Lunches
We also host a variety of community-centered events that strengthen school spirit and parent engagement, including:
• The annual Fall Festival
• Game Nights and family socials
• Our Valentine’s Social
• The Parents’ Night Out Auction
As a Title I school, many of our enhancements and events rely solely on community fundraising and outside support. Every dollar raised goes directly into programs that help close opportunity gaps and foster a rich, inclusive learning environment for all Navajo students.
We are grateful for every sponsor, donor, and partner who helps us fulfill our mission of empowering children through STEAM, creativity, and community.
Together, we are building a brighter, stronger future—one project, one student, one experience at a time.
